In
the initial one-hour lesson, Dr. White will conduct a 15-minute interview to
assess the studentÕs vocal background.
He will then vocalize the student on variety of exercises suited to
their voice type for approximately 15 minutes followed by the student singing a
prepared piece becoming more familiar with their vocal needs. After the lesson, a vocal evaluation
will be written and a list of recommended exercises and repertoire will be
given to the student.

Through Dr. WhiteÕs 1000+ performances, he has
sung all types of repertoire from medieval to contemporary classical, jazz to
pop, gospel to musical theater. In
a typical one-hour coaching the student will:

to improve areas of style, interpretation and presentation

Dr. WhiteÕs educational background, paired with
his time in Chanticleer, has given him a deep understanding of choral
techniques including proper breathing, warm-up exercises, stage presence,
interpretation, diction to vocal health and proper posture. His master classes are tailored to the
individual needs of each ensemble ranging from High School to professional. These master classes are meant to
enhance the choral experience for the ensemble by bringing another perspective
to music-making. In a 90 minute
session your ensemble will:
